So last night I sat down and figured out what I'm hoping to be a good work out routine for me at home. A few of these are really good strength trainers for skating. (I do roller derby.) I did it today and I feel great.
1. Stretch
2. Dance- (2 dances you can find on youtube.com)
Cupid Shuffle- 1x
Cha Cha Slide- 1x
3. Squats- 10x in sets of 3
4.Lunges- 10x in sets of 3
5. Fire Hydrant- Hold 10 secs 10x in sets of 3
6. Donkey Kick- Hold 10 secs 10x in sets of 3
7. Standing Knee to Elbow- 10x in sets of 3
8. Planks- 30 secs in sets of 3
9. Leg Lifts- 20 secs in sets of 3
10. Crunches- 20x in sets of 3
11. Elbow to Knee Crunches- 20x in sets of 3
12. Elliptical- 20 mins.
